This series of five two-hour classes introduced the basics of crocheting via swatching and crocheting one or more projects using the techniques learned.  Students learned to crochet a versatile, reconfigurable beret, along with intermediate and designer crochet techniques.

In the 5 week "Learn to Crochet" class offered at Heritage Spinning & Weaving, Emmy made this versatile beret with a single skein of Ella Rae Amity print yarn.  The head form is a hat model from the shop.
