Doe with Twins This is the first time I've ever seen twin fawns and I actually didn't see the one lying down in the foreground when I took the photo, so I was lucky to catch the twins and the doe. We knew there were a couple born a few weeks ago, because another Paint Creek Trail walker had seen them nursing.

It seems to be the year for twins. One of my good friends had twins this year: a boy and a girl, Vincent and Gabriella. This inspired me to knit baby clothes, one of which was inspired by colors of plants along the trail (A Trio of Orange Delights). Read more .... to see additional deer photos.
