If you are knitting the wrist warmers with straight needles, it is best to center the cable so that the piece can be sewn together on the bottom side of the arm. To provide ease for seaming, 30 sts instead of 28 sts were cast on.
This pair of wrist warmers features an "O X O" cable pattern for each wrist and 1 x 1 ribbed cuffs. With 4.0 mm circular needles they knit up as quickly as a swatch.
This wrist warmer uses the pattern in the following article with one change: Hugs and Kisses Wrist warmers. Instead of a 24 row pattern, 25 rows were used to keep the second "O" from being compressed by the ribbing.
Yarn: Red Heart, 8 oz (225 g) skein, 100% acrylic, worsted weight (medium 4), E300, color 0661 Frost Green, USA (Coats & Clark, Greenville, SC).

Yarn: Red Heart, 8 oz (225 g) skein, 100% acrylic, worsted weight (medium 4), E300, color 0661 Frost Green, USA (Coats & Clark, Greenville, SC). The yarn recommended 5 mm needles, but I used 3.5 mm to achieve the desired dimensions.
