- Picking up beads with sewing or beading needle.
- Loading beads on the yarn, using waste thread.
- Sliding beads down the yarn, where they are parked until needed.
- Purl a stitch before the bead. On the left hand side you see the beads waiting to be inserted in the current row.
- Slip bead into position, after the first purl stitch, before the second purl stitch.
- Position of bead for start of 2nd purl stitch.
- 2nd purl stitch is formed and still resting on left hand needle. The bead is now locked into position between two purl stitches.
- The second purl stitch has been completed and transferred to the right hand needle.
