A perky tiger striped kitten wearing a red bow, sits beside a green and white striped present also wrapped in a red bow. I outlined the package ribbon with red backstitching, the green stripes with green backstitching, increased the size of the cat's eyes and nose and changed the ornament frame from heart-shaped to round. At first I purchased these ornaments to decorate gifts, but then I decided to make at least one a year to hang in our home, so I actually made two a year, one to keep and one to give away.
