The Strawberries and Cream Tabard inner collar edge was sewn with Woolly Nylon^RT so that it would hug the neck, yet have elasticity. The snaking arrow indicates how the nylon was threaded through the purl ridge loops, using a darning needle. In this close-up, you can see (or not) how the nude (called concord ivory) thread becomes invisible once sewn in.
