Working on the antique flower spray cross stitch design whetted my desire to work on another cross-stitch pattern. I completed this blue-grey themed carousel horse a while ago and have it hanging in my dining room. Yes, I'll admit I chose the colors of the frame, mat and kit to complement the wallpaper. I modified this Janlynn Summer Carousel Horse only slightly by removing the post and correcting minor assymmetry (a flaw) in the rose and fan border. Now I'm ready to start another horse-themed cross-stitch pattern in similar, cool, soothing colors: The Wave. When I saw it in the store, it reached out to me. I've sorted the floss and will block the fabric tomorrow. This project will likely take several months because I tend not to complete more than a 1/2 hour to an hour of cross stitch in a day.
