  1. The toe increases have been completed and each of the 2 circular needles holds 32 sts.
  2. Knit all rounds until the front of the ankle is reached. In the image to the right a vertical grey line indicates the point where the slope of the ankle meets the top of the foot.

Quality Control Tip
The most important tip for knitting the foot is to try sock on several times if necessary to make certain you have sufficient length. At this point you will also be able to judge if there is too much or too little width (circumference) to accomodate your foot dimensions.

NEXT STEP - Gusset
Look at the toe and decide which makes a nicer top view; with some toe construction methods this doesn't matter. When there is a difference, select the nicest view for the instep and the other side for the sole of the foot.
