Inspired by the Trio of Orange Delights from a recent Paint Creek Trail hike, the peaches and cream baby bib features include self locking leaf-shaped ties in contrasting colors and a rocking horse embellished with leaf green floss. As I look at the photo of the bib, the ties and shape could also represent a castle with turrets, if other colors were selected.
Bib Self TiesConstructed entirely of cotton for absorbency and softness, the bib edges are reinforced and accented with a garter stitch border. The garter stitch theme is carried to the leaves of the neckband. The color chart for the rocking horse was designed using the spreadsheet technique described in the second article on the uses of spreadsheets in knitting.
