After the controlled burn earlier this year to eliminate invasive species, milkweed was one of the plants that sprouted along the Paint Creek Trail. These globes remind me of the geodesic dome, designed by Buckminster Fuller for Montreal's Expo 67, a shape that enthralled me as a child.
