Increase After Purl Stitch Before Knit Stitch -Step 1

This is the 1st of 2 photos showing a YO (yarn over) lace increase after a purl stitch before a knit stitch. Full photos and instructions can be found in the Yarn Over increase after a Purl before a Knit Stitch article.

  1. The P stitch has been completed and is on the right hand needle. Now loop the yarn over the right hand needle from front to back.
  2. Complete the knit stitch as you normally would, passing the right hand needle through the loop on the left hand needle in the direction front to back and draw the yarn though the loop.
