Begin with a chain stitch or other foundation row or round.
- Chain 3 turning chain.
- Yarn over.
- Insert the crochet hook through the 2nd stitch from the end of the prior row (ie next stitch, current row).
- Yarn over and draw a loop through the stitch of the prior row (3 loops remain on hook).
- Yarn over a second time and draw the yarn through two loops on the hook.
- Yarn over a third time and draw the yarn through the remaining two loops on the hook.
- Yarn over and insert the crochet hook through the next stitch of the prior row. Draw a loop through the stitch. (3 loops on hook)
- Yarn over a second time and draw the yarn through two loops on the hook.
- Yarn over a third time and draw the yarn through the remaining two loops on the hook.
