This image shows the glove being tried on for finger fit. There is a tendency for the unanchored side of the finger to "float" in the air, so make sure to push it down when measuring the finger for length. Otherwise, your measurement could be out by 1/4".

Make sure the completed fingers are also fully seated, not just the one you are working on.
