Tools

  1. Rowenta Pro Compact Garment Steamer
  2. Flower pins were used to pin the wristwarmers to the card stock.
  3. T pins were used to pin the card stock to the blocking mat.
  4. Scissors were used to cut two 3-1/8" wide by 6" long templates.
  5. Heavy card stock or similar weight paper.

Instructions
The template width was based on the stitch gauge and wrist measurement. For a 6-1/4" circumference wrist, the template was cut 3-1/8" wide and 6" long. The extra length provided room for pinning the wrist warmer to the template. The wrist warmer was pinned to a template with flower pins. Then both sides of the wrist warmer were steamed for a few seconds and the template was pinned to a blocking mat with T pins. If you don't pin down the card stock, it will curl upwards as it dries. Set the wrist warmers aside to dry thoroughly.
