Confetti Boa

Confetti boaConfetti boaWhen I wore the confetti boa to a local art fair, a number of artists commented that the scarf and blouse looked like they were made for each other. So much for secrets! I've also worn it too the office with an antique rose blazer. This quick and easy scarf was completed in 2-1/2 hours and is suitable as a spring/summer accent.

Similar to the red fancy fur scarf in construction, this one curls under into almost a tube, so even though the gauge is 4" wide, in practice, measuring to the tips of the eyelashes it is about 3" wide. It was made to complement this long antique rose silk tunic that had front loop closures, so its length was determined by trying it on with the blouse until an appealing length was reached. The boa lent a whimsical effect to the outfit.
